On using what you learn about unconditional love:

We began by looking at Claire's mindset, specifically the limiting belief her mum had created that love was conditional on Claire complying.

It was a lightbulb moment for Claire she realised that she had assumed that's how love was, after all, this way of being was normalised from her birth. She could also recognise other areas of her life like her friendships and romantic relationships, where this belief was present, this was a revelation to her.

During our time together we worked on changing this limiting belief, which had a knock on effect at home and at work. By the time she finished her inner work with me:

She had stepped out of her guilt and shame.

She had healthier relationships with her friends.

She had started a romantic relationship that was based on unconditional love.

Her mum was no longer able to control and shame her and she had coping mechanisms to deal with mum's threats of rejection (which happened a lot less frequently because it no longer worked on Claire).

In Claire's words: "Working on my mindset and limiting beliefs with Charlotte has really allowed me to live my life for me. I no longer have sleepless nights, get upset about my mum, and that horrible endless feeling of guilt has gone.
